Signature Bank gains 8.33% as the top gainer; currently at 13 cents

European markets were down yesterday as FTSE retreats to 7,562.36 (down 0.49%).

Yesterday's trading session saw to it that markets were up yesterday; Dow Jones ended the session at 33,877 after a 0.13% gain. Nasdaq gained 0.16% and closed at 13,259.

NIO Inc. and Canopy Growth Corporation have released their earnings reports with Adobe and Kroger Co are set to publish their respective reports as scheduled.

On a negative note, the market received some disappointing news as Initial Jobless Claims in United States fell short of market expectations (235,000) with a reading of 261,000, continuing the decline from the previous figure of 233,000.

Today's rise takes place amid mixed market indicators — United States CFTC Crude Oil speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 172,400, while the previous figure was 162,600. United States CFTC Gold speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 175,600, while the previous figure was 169,300.

While most assets did well yesterday, some did better than others as Signature Bank trades at 13 cents having gained 8.33%. Playtika (up 3.04%) is also performing well.

Yesterday's bullishness contained stragglers as noticeable risk-on sentiment wasn't enough to prevent Dish Network giving up 88 cents, or 11.84%, before ending the session at $6.55.
