3Rd quarter earnings season is mostly over, with Pinduoduo and Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation releasing their earnings reports just this week.
On a negative note, the market received some disappointing news as Core Durable Goods Orders in United States fell short of market expectations (0%) with a reading of -0.2%, continuing the decline from the previous figure of 0.3%.
Today's rise takes place amid mixed market indicators — United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) released Friday with a figure of 0.4, while the previous figure was 0.3. United States CFTC Crude Oil speculative net positions released Friday with a figure of 193,100, while the previous figure was 191,500.
Furthermore, the market is looking at as things stand, upcoming United States Consumer Confidence data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of 99, following on from the preceding figure of 101.3. New data is set to be published Tuesday.
