Today's market activity meant that leading equity indices in the US rose as S&P 500 ended the session at 4,450.38 after a 1.23% gain. Nasdaq gained 1.45% and closed at 13,800.

US markets are now currently closed and set to reopen Monday; meanwhile, European markets closed higher today whilst CAC ascends by 1.19%, reaching 7,400. Upbeat Asia-Pacific markets ended today higher as KOSPI Composite Index added 0.56% to trade at 2,564.28.

United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (May) came out at 0.3, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3.
