After ending the previous trading day at 1.6214, EUR/AUD went up to 1.6334 only to drop back; still positive overall today, now trading at 1.6216.
Euro-Aussie dollar is currently trading at 1.6216 following the release of Manufacturing PMI data from the Germany.
Meanwhile, Euro Zone Composite PMI came out at 50.3, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 52.5. France Services PMI released today at 07:15 UTC with a figure of 48, while the previous figure was 52.5. France Manufacturing PMI released today at 07:15 UTC with a figure of 45.5, while the previous figure was 45.7.
Elsewhere, other currency pairs are also gaining ground as USD/SGD gained 0.6% and is now trading at 1.3525.
At the same time, EUR/USD drops 0.97% to trade around 1.0852. AUD/USD drops 1% to trade around 0.6692.
Also worthy of note, Australia CFTC AUD speculative net positions scheduled to come out today at 20:30 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions is scheduled for today at 20:30 UTC. Euro Zone ECB's Panetta speech is scheduled today at 12:45 UTC.
Having set a peak of 1.6707 around a month ago, Euro-Aussie dollar is now trading 2.95% below this level.
