Ripple made an initial breakout above its 5 day Simple Moving Average at $0.476, a potential indicator of a newly emerging bullish phase. Ripple's upper Bollinger Band® is at $0.509 and the lower is $0.462. After reaching the $0.461 support zone, XRP bounced and climbed 1 cents above it.

Despite muted price action in Ripple, chart analysis indicates it is positioned for a bullish run in the short term.

Meanwhile, mixed performances are seen elsewhere as Litecoin explodes 26.76% to trade around $107.43. Bitcoin Cash skyrockets 21.28% to trade around $308.15. EOS is up 10.65%.

Ripple has gained 40.83% since its lowest print of $0.311 earlier this year. Ripple is currently trading with a market cap of 24.84 billion with an average daily volume of 1.15 billion.
