Tentatively higher from an earlier low of 1.0764, EUR/USD is up to 1.0803 today, adding 25 pips, or 0.24%, to yesterday's closing price of 1.0777.
Euro-Dollar is currently trading at 1.0803 following the release of ECB President Lagarde speech data from the Euro Zone.
Meanwhile, data for Germany Producer Price Index published today at 06:00 UTC came out at 0.3%, beating projections of -0.5% and showing improvement over the preceding figure of -1.4%. United States Existing Home Sales (Apr) came out at 4.28 million, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 4.3 million. United States Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index (May) released yesterday at 12:30 UTC with a figure of -10.4, while the previous figure was -31.3.
Other currencies are also rising as NZD/USD gained 0.77% and is currently trading at 0.6277.
Meanwhile, USD/CHF is down to 0.9003, losing 48 pips, after closing at 0.9052 in the preceding trading session. GBP/NZD is down 97 pips from the beginning of the session and now trades around 1.9814.
Also worthy of note, Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions is scheduled for today at 20:30 UTC. Germany Buba Balz speech will be released tomorrow at 01:00 UTC.
The Euro is now trading 2.68% away from its significant high of 1.1073 first tested 16 days ago.
