Ahead of today's session: leading equity indices in the US declined as Nasdaq closed at 11,379, a 0.66% change. S&P 500 shed 0.47% and closed at 3,951.39.
US markets are now currently closed and set to reopen today; meanwhile, European markets are sideways. Asia-Pacific markets closed higher today whilst KOSPI Composite Index increases to 2,428 (up 0.62%).

Market's down-tick coincides with some negative macro data published earlier as following a previous reading of 106, Consumer Confidence in United States released Tuesday fell short of the 108.5 figure expected by analysts with an actual reading of 102.9.
Markets are trading lower today despite some positive data published earlier as highly important Crude Oil Inventories data from United States beat analyst expectations of 457,000 with a reading of 1.17 million.
While price action maintains a negative bias, United States ISM Manufacturing PMI (Feb) released yesterday at 15:00 UTC with a figure of 47.7, while the previous figure was 47.4.
With markets struggling for positive sentiment, upcoming macro data could potentially attract buyers in the market as as things stand, upcoming United States Initial Jobless Claims data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of 195,000, following on from the preceding figure of 192,000. New data is set to be published today at 13:30 UTC.
Furthermore, United States ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI (Feb) scheduled to come out tomorrow at 15:00 UTC.
Yesterday's bearishness meant that iShares MBS ETF lost 0.74% yesterday before closing at $92.07. As things stand, Vanguard Mortgage-Backed Securities ETF (down 0.728%), iShares Trust – iShares iBonds Dec 2021 Term Treasury ETF (down 0.039%) are also underperforming today.
