EUR/CAD's value drop coincided with the fact that after ending Friday's session at 1.769, EUR/NZD lost 152 pips and is trading around 1.7537. EUR/AUD is down to 1.5942, losing 114 pips, after ending the previous session around 1.6056.
Though EUR/CAD has been dropping, other pairs have been performing better: notably, USD/CHF rose 0.49% Friday and closed at 0.8989.
The currency pair has been trending lower for about a month. EUR/CAD is now trading 4.55% away from its significant high of 1.5086 first tested a month ago.
