Bearish US markets bleed into mixed picture for Asia-Pacific counterparts

• IShares Core S&P Small-Cap ETF was the biggest decliner yesterday after giving up 2.06% IShares Trust – iShares iBonds Dec 2021 Term Treasury ETF had a negative day yesterday (down 0.039%).
• Asia-Pacific markets are in session with varied performances.

Data from United States concerning Factory Orders was released yesterday at 14:00 UTC. Newly published figures emphasized continued decline from last month's figure of 0.6% to 0.4% this month.

With markets struggling for positive sentiment, upcoming macro data could potentially attract buyers in the market as as things stand, upcoming United States Crude Oil Inventories data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of 1.15 million, following on from the preceding figure of 4.49 million. New data is set to be published tomorrow at 14:30 UTC. United States Initial Jobless Claims expected to decline to 238,000 while its preceding data was 232,000, data will be available Thursday.

Furthermore, United States EIA Short-Term Energy Outlook scheduled to come out today at 16:00 UTC.

While markets are generally down so far today, some assets outperformed such as ETFMG Sit Ultra Short ETF gained 0.17% to reach $48.29.
