Tentatively higher from an earlier low of 1.4663, EUR/CAD is up to 1.4716 today, adding 46 pips, or 0.32%, to yesterday's closing price of 1.4669.
EUR/CAD is currently trading at 1.4716 following the release of Ivey PMI (Mar) data from the Canada.
Uptick comes while some more positive signs for EUR/CAD are out as data for Canada Employment Change published today at 12:30 UTC came out at 34,700, beating projections of 12,000 and showing improvement over the preceding figure of 21,800.
Meanwhile, Canada Ivey PMI (Mar) released today at 14:00 UTC with a figure of 58.2, while the previous figure was 51.6. Canada Unemployment Rate beats expectations of 5.1 with new data release of five, marks no change over previous data of five.
Other currencies are also rising as having closed the previous session at 1.9714, GBP/NZD is up 1% today to currently trade at around 1.9914. EUR/NZD is up 1.32%. Having closed the previous session at 1.6218, EUR/AUD is up 1.02% today to currently trade at around 1.6383.
Also worthy of note, Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions scheduled to come out tomorrow at 20:30 UTC.
The currency pair has been trending positively for about a month. Having set a significant low of 1.2895 7 months ago, EUR/CAD is trading 13.76% higher.
