EUR/CAD dropped to 1.4352, hitting its lowest point in 3 months. It later recovered 24 pips and is now trading at 1.4377.
Other currencies are also rising as USD/SGD is up 0.13% to 1.3512. Having closed the previous session at 0.9087, USD/CHF is up 0.12% today to currently trade at around 0.9097.
Meanwhile, GBP/USD closed at 1.2432 (down 0.17%).
Also worthy of note, Canada Ivey PMI (May) is expected tomorrow at 14:00 UTC. Canada Building Permits is expected tomorrow at 12:30 UTC. Euro Zone Retail Sales is projected to outperform its last figure with 0.2%. It previously stood at -1.2%; data will be released tomorrow at 09:00 UTC. Germany Factory Orders is projected to outperform its last figure with -2.2%, having previously been at -10.7%. The figure will be published tomorrow at 06:00 UTC.
The currency pair has been trending lower for about a month. EUR/CAD is now trading 4.75% away from its significant high of 1.5086 first tested a month ago.
