Newly published figures emphasized continued decline from last month's figure of -0.2% to -1.2% this month.
Euro-Aussie dollar's value drop coincided with the fact that after ending yesterday's session at 1.4907, EUR/CAD lost 169 pips and is trading around 1.4737. USD/CAD is down to 1.3375, losing 164 pips, after ending the previous session around 1.354.
Though Euro-Aussie dollar has been dropping, other pairs have been performing better: GBP/JPY surges 0.95% yesterday and closed at 168.71.
The currency pair has been trending positively for about 2 months. Euro-Aussie dollar is now trading 1.52% away from its significant high of 1.6707 first tested 10 days ago.
