Meanwhile, Japan CFTC JPY speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of -57,200, while the previous figure was -57,000. United Kingdom CFTC GBP speculative net positions came out at -2,400.
A look at other currencies also shows bullish price action as notably, USD/SGD rose 0.64% yesterday and closed at 1.3222. EUR/NZD added 0.99% and closed around 1.7533 yesterday.
Meanwhile, AUD/USD is down to 0.6711, losing 74 pips, after ending the previous session around 0.6786.
The currency pair has been trending positively for about 2 months. As things stand, Pound-Yen is 14.8% away from a significant low of 144.6 first set 6 months ago.
