The renewable energy vendor closed at $31.47 after it made its largest daily jump of $1.94 (6.57%) since May 2022. This year has been a bright one for the renewable power asset company after trading as low as $24.82 and going on to appreciate by 23.09% year to date. The Nasdaq has been doing worse in 2022, it has been passing it by 7.64%. The company is currently trading with a market cap of $20.27 billion with an average daily trading volume of 200,043 shares.

New Fortress Energy reported earnings results Thursday, with EPS at 0.9 and revenues at $579.13 million; these results are mixed when compared to a consensus of 0.82 Earnings Per Share and $663.33 million revenue. Since the release of its earnings report, New Fortress Energy gained 11%.
