US markets are now currently closed and set to reopen today; meanwhile, European markets have no obvious direction. Asia-Pacific markets ended a mixed session today whilst Nikkei is currently down 1.68% and trading around 27,800.
Meanwhile, United States JOLTs Job Openings (Feb) came out at 9.93 million, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 10.4 million. United States ISM Manufacturing PMI (Mar) released Monday with a figure of 46.3, while the previous figure was 47.7. Fresh API Weekly Crude Oil Stock data from United States came out at -4.35 million.
Looking ahead, ongoing depreciation may be prolonged as United States Non Farm Payrolls expected to decline to 240,000 while its preceding data was 311,000, data will be available Friday.
Some optimism can drawn from the fact that United States Crude Oil Inventories is projected to outperform its last figure with -2.33 million. It previously stood at -7.49 million; data will be released today at 14:30 UTC.
Furthermore, United States ADP Nonfarm Employment Change (Mar) will be released today at 12:15 UTC.
While markets are generally down so far today, some assets outperformed such as Vanguard Mortgage-Backed Securities ETF gained 0.49% to reach $46.93. IShares 1-3 Year Treasury Bond ETF (up 0.232%) is also performing well.
