Market's down-tick coincides with some negative macro data published earlier as United States Producer Price Index released earlier showed a marked improvement to 0.2% from the preceding data of -0.4%, but fell short of the 0.3% figure forecast by a consensus of market analysts. United States Initial Jobless Claims fell short of the 245,000 projections, with new data of 264,000.
Markets are trading lower today despite some positive data published earlier as highly important Crude Oil Inventories data from United States beat analyst expectations of -917,000 with a reading of 2.95 million.
Today's bearishness meant that iShares MBS ETF lost 0.7% today before closing at $94.5. Vanguard Mortgage-Backed Securities ETF (down 0.684%), iShares Trust – iShares iBonds Dec 2021 Term Treasury ETF (down 0.039%) also underperformed today.
