Amid the market gloom, United States New Home Sales (Apr) released today at 14:00 UTC with a figure of 683,000, while the previous figure was 656,000. United States Services PMI came out at 55.1, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 52.6. United States Building Permits released today at 12:00 UTC with a figure of 1.15 million, while the previous figure was 1.43 million.
Looking ahead, ongoing depreciation may be prolonged as United States Crude Oil Inventories expected to decline to -920,000 while its preceding data was 5 million, data will be available tomorrow at 14:30 UTC. Thursday data for United States Initial Jobless Claims will be released, with an expected decline to 250,000 from the preceding figure of 242,000.
Some optimism can drawn from the fact that United States Pending Home Sales is projected to outperform its last figure with 0.5%. It previously stood at -5.2%; data will be released Thursday.
While markets are generally down so far today, some assets outperformed such as Signature Bank gained 8% to reach 13.49 cents. Outbrain (up 7%).
Today's bearishness meant that Integra LifeSciences lost 20.19% today before closing at $40.48.
Positive signs: after 11 days of being mostly flat, Outbrain Inc. Common Stock closed 7% higher today. Daily trading volume (193,675 shares) increased, making up 142% of the 21-day average (136,053).
