The markets are set to close higher to end today's trading session; AMC Entertainment rose 22.1% and leads the pack of top stocks

The leading indices are pointing up — Nasdaq up to 11,469, gaining 0.65%. S&P 500 goes up 0.35%, trading at 3,983.74.

Uptick coincides with some positive signs published earlier as highly important Pending Home Sales data from United States beat analyst expectations of 1% with a reading of 8.1%.

Union Pacific | +10.11%; session high: $214.8 session low: $209.77

The freight haulage specialist trades at $212.19 after it made its largest daily jump of $19.47 (10.11%) since March 2020. The freight-hauling railroad company reached a significant high of $276.69 around 10 months ago but has lost 30.35% since then. So far this year, it has been under-performing the S&P by 10.25%. Currently, the freight haulage specialist has a market capitalization of $129.84 billion with an average daily volume of 3.30 million shares. Union Pacific is forecasted to generate revenues of $6.31 billion and EPS of $2.75.

+10%: Seagen trades up $16.17, approximately 10% higher going into close in a hour time

After ending Friday at $161.37, the biotechnology company went up to $182.55 only to drop back some of the way. It is now trading around $177.54 as it reaches the end of the trading session. Seagen's market cap is currently $33.16 billion with an average daily trading volume of 1.10 million shares. So far this year, it has been outperforming the Nasdaq by 16.53%.

+22.1%: AMC Entertainment on its way to $7.57, gaining 22.1% today

From an earlier low of $6.19, the theatre company is on track to end the session around $7.57 after gaining $1.37 compared to last trading session's $6.2 (22.1%). The company's market cap currently stands at $3.89 billion the Nasdaq has been doing worse in 2022, it has been passing it by 48.91%.

AMC Entertainment is scheduled to announce earnings results tomorrow. The consensus Earnings Per Share estimate is -0.2 and the consensus revenue estimate is $1.14 billion.

Bright Health | +12%; session high: 85.61 cents session low: 74.03 cents

From an earlier low of 74.03 cents, the health insurance provider is on track to end the session around 81.04 cents after gaining 8.68 cents compared to last trading session's 72.36 cents (12%).

Bright Health is scheduled to announce earnings results Wednesday. The consensus EPS estimate is -0.54 and the consensus revenue estimate is $1.77 billion.
