Uptick coincides with some positive signs published earlier as data for United States Average Hourly Earnings published today at 12:30 UTC came out at 0.5%, beating projections of 0.3% and showing improvement over the preceding figure of 0.3%.

Coinbase reported earnings results yesterday, with EPS at -1.98 and revenues at $736.40 million; these results are mixed when compared to a consensus of -1.44 Earnings Per Share and $220,000 revenue. Since the release of its earnings report, Coinbase gained 17.14%.

After closing yesterday at $9.13, the fintech company went up to $10.58 only to drop back some of the way, and is now trading at $10.37.
