The company reported earnings of 7.4 per share on revenue of $3.87 billion, topping estimates of 6.54 per share on revenue of $3.83 billion. Since the release of its earnings report, Lam Research gained 7.68%.

After ending yesterday at $262.32, Snap-on gains $22.55 and hits a new record high of $262.67 today. The high-quality tools maker reached a significant high of $259.66 around 2 months ago but has lost 7.66% since then. So far this year, it has been under-performing the S&P by 3.42%.
