Looking ahead, ongoing depreciation may be prolonged as as things stand, upcoming United States GDP data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of 1.4, following on from the preceding figure of 2.6. New data is set to be published Thursday.
Some optimism can drawn from the fact that United States Crude Oil Inventories is projected to outperform its last figure with 1.42 million, having previously been at -3.83 million. The figure will be published tomorrow at 14:30 UTC. United States Core Durable Goods Orders is projected to outperform its last figure with -0.1%. It previously stood at -0.2%; data will be released today at 12:30 UTC.
While markets are generally down so far today, some assets outperformed such as Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund gained 2.23% to reach $36.66.
