Other currencies are also rising as GBP/USD went up by 0.69% Friday, and closed at 1.2698. GBP/CAD went up by 0.67% Friday, and closed at 1.6823.
While the New-Zealand Dollar is up today, these currencies are lagging behind: after ending Friday's session at 1.79, EUR/NZD lost 123 pips and is trading around 1.7776.
Also worthy of note, New Zealand Building Consents (MoM) (May) is expected today at 22:45 UTC. New Zealand Business Confidence is expected tomorrow at 22:00 UTC. United States ISM Manufacturing PMI (Jun) scheduled to come out tomorrow at 14:00 UTC.
Having set a peak of 0.65 around 4 months ago, the Kiwi is now trading 6.62% below this level.
