Before today's session: markets completed a mixed session yesterday, as Dow Jones slipped 0.22% and closed at 33,853. Nasdaq closed the day at 13,600, having gained 0.27%.
US markets are set to open today in around 9 hours. In the meantime, Asia-Pacific markets are currently mixed so far this session. European markets closed higher yesterday whilst CAC added 0.98% to trade at 7,286.32.

Data for United States Consumer Confidence published Tuesday came out at 109.7, beating projections of 104 and showing improvement over the preceding figure of 102.5.
Data to be released today might clear up some of the market fog as projections for United States GDP are set for a continuation of decline with 1.4 while previous data was 2.6; data will be released today at 12:30 UTC. United States Initial Jobless Claims expected to decline to 266,000 while its preceding data was 264,000, data will be available today at 12:30 UTC. United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (May) scheduled to come out tomorrow at 12:30 UTC.
Despite lacklustre price action, some assets lagged behind their peers as ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Natural Gas lost 9.51% yesterday before closing at $63. United States Natural Gas Fund LP (down 5.09%), iShares Trust – iShares iBonds Dec 2021 Term Treasury ETF (down 0.039%) also underperformed yesterday.
