With regards to technical trend indicators, chart analysis show that the Commodity Channel Index (CCI) indicator is above +100, meaning the market price is unusually high compared to the rolling average. Asset volatility analysis shows that Vontier's upper Bollinger Band® is at $27.45, this is a slight indication of a slowdown. Support/Resistance levels obtained from chart analysis indicate that Vontier reversed direction at $27.3 resistance zone and retreated back 34 cents below it.
Notwithstanding Vontier's appreciation in recent days, the technical outlook suggests its bullish run is now fading.
A look at other technology stocks also showed bullish price action as NVIDIA added 1.11% to its value, and traded at $267.58.
