Canada Employment Change published yesterday at 12:30 UTC came out at -17,300, falling short of the 23,200 projections and continuing its decline from the previous 41,400 figure.
Meanwhile, Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 158,400, while the previous figure was 165,700. Canada Unemployment Rate fell short of the 5.1 projections, with new data of 5.2.
EUR/CAD's value drop coincided with the fact that after ending yesterday's session at 1.769, EUR/NZD lost 152 pips and is trading around 1.7537. After ending yesterday's session at 1.6056, EUR/AUD lost 114 pips and is trading around 1.5942.
Though EUR/CAD has been dropping, other pairs have been performing better: USD/CHF jumps 0.49% yesterday and closed at 0.8989.
The currency pair has been trending lower for about a month. EUR/CAD is now trading 4.55% away from its significant high of 1.5086 first tested a month ago.
