Meanwhile, Euro Zone Composite PMI came out at 52.8, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 53.3. Germany Services PMI released today at 07:55 UTC with a figure of 57.2, while the previous figure was 56. Fresh Trade Balance (Apr) data from Germany came out at 18.4 billion.
In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other pairs as GBP/USD falls 0.55% to trade around 1.2385. GBP/NZD slumps 0.42% to trade around 2.0462. GBP/CAD is down 70 pips from the beginning of the session and now trades around 1.6639.
Furthermore, Euro Zone ECB President Lagarde speech will be released today at 13:00 UTC. Euro Zone Retail Sales is projected to outperform its last figure with 0.2%, having previously been at -1.2%. The figure will be published tomorrow at 09:00 UTC. Germany Factory Orders is projected to outperform its last figure with -2.2%. It previously stood at -10.7%; data will be released tomorrow at 06:00 UTC.
The currency pair has been trending lower for about a month. Having set a peak of 1.1073 around a month ago, the Euro is now trading 3.26% below this level.
