EUR/USD falls to 1.0914, following mixed behavior today as it ranges between 1.0896 and 1.0953.
The Euro is currently trading at 1.0914 following the release of Building Permits (May) data from the United States.
Meanwhile, United States Building Permits (May) came out at 1.49 million, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 1.43 million. Following a previous reading of 0.3%, Producer Price Index in Germany released today at 06:00 UTC fell short of the -0.7% figure expected by analysts with an actual reading of -1.4%. Data for United States Housing Starts published today at 12:30 UTC came out at 21.7%, beating projections of -0.8% and showing improvement over the preceding figure of -2.9%.
In the meantime, negative performances are seen in other pairs, AUD/USD dips 1.08% to trade around 0.6781. GBP/JPY is trading around 180.27 (down 129 pips).
Though Euro-Dollar has been dropping, other pairs have been performing better: having closed the previous session at 1.5939, EUR/AUD is up 0.98% today to currently trade at around 1.6095.
Furthermore, Germany Buba President Nagel speech will be released tomorrow at 13:45 UTC. Germany Buba Balz speech is expected tomorrow at 15:00 UTC. Euro Zone ECB's Schnabel speech is scheduled for tomorrow at 13:45 UTC.
After setting a supportive marker at 0.9596 around 8 months ago, Euro-Dollar is now trading 13.85% above this level.
