The index has been trending positively for about a month. CAC is up 48,100% from the significant low of 15.42 it hit 7 months ago.
Fundamental indicators – Industrial Production in Germany fell short of market expectations (-1.3%) with a reading of -3.4%, continuing the decline from the previous figure of 2.1%.
While CAC was pretty flat yesterday, mixed performances were seen elsewhere as FTSE is trading around 7,778.38 after ending yesterday's session at 7,702.64 (up 0.98% today). Nikkei added 0.99% and closed around 28,950 yesterday. After ending yesterday's session at 20,300, Hang Seng lost 179.18 points and is trading around 20,121.
Upcoming fundamentals: Germany Consumer Price Index figure is projected at 0.4%. It previously stood at 0.8%; data will be released tomorrow at 06:00 UTC.
